Coca-Cola faced a serious PR problem in its home state of Georgia. Without getting too political, the brand took a stand that ruffled some lawmakers' feathers. The brand’s image became so tarnished that its products were being removed from government buildings across the state. My task was to develop concepts that reminded everyone in Georgia just how ingrained and vital the Coca-Cola brand is to the state, its people, and its economy.
To celebrate Coca-Cola’s partnership with the Special Olympics, I was given the opportunity to highlight some of the athletes competing in that year’s games. ESPN was so impressed with the spot that they offered to air it for free during their broadcast. I’d call that a win.
To complement the videos I created, I also had the opportunity to produce a series of print ads that ran in various publications and online.
